Leadership

The leadership in updating the Campus Master Plan consisted of the following three main groups

Board and President

The Illinois State University Board of Trustees and President Bowman provided leadership to the Vice Presidents in updating the Campus Master Plan.

Vice Presidents

The Vice Presidents served as a steering committee in providing oversight and leadership to the Capital Planning and Budget Team throughout the update of the new Campus Master Plan.

Members included:

  • Dan Layzell - Vice President for Finance and Planning
  • Sheri Noren Everts - Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost
  • Steve Adams - Vice President for Student Affairs
  • Erin Minné - Vice President for University Advancement (beginning June 2010)
  • Dianne Ashby - Vice President for University Advancement (through April 2010)

Capital Planning and Budget Team

The Capital Planning and Budget Team facilitated and guided development of the Campus Master Plan. The Capital Planning and Budget Team ensured that broad consultation was sought throughout the process.

Members included:

  • Brian Huonker, Chair, Civil Service Council (October 2009 through August 2010)
  • Jill Jones, Executive Director, Development and Donor Information Services
  • Larry Lyons, Executive Director, Intercollegiate Athletics
  • David Marquis, Student Government Association (beginning April 2010)
  • Shane McCreery, Director, Diversity and Affirmative Action
  • Chuck McGuire, Associate Vice President, Academic Administration
  • Mboka Mwilambwe, Administrative Professional Staff Council
  • Brent Paterson, Senior Associate Vice President, Student Affairs
  • Theresa Sanchez, Chair, Civil Service Council (beginning August 2010)
  • Deb Smitley, Senior Associate Vice President for Finance, Planning and Facilities
  • Matt Spialek, Student Government Association (October 2009 through April 2010)
