The Campus Master Plan lays out a long-range plan for the physical development of campus in size, form, character, image, and environment. It includes proposed new building growth, while at the same time addressing renewal of buildings and defining outdoor spaces that unify all functions of the University. Master Plan 2010-2030: Looking to the Future was endorsed by the Illinois State University Board of Trustees on February 18, 2011.
President Dietz has charged the Master Plan Update Steering Team with producing an update to the Master Plan that considers the realities of operating as a public university in the State of Illinois during lean financial times. As part of this effort, the Steering Team is hosting an online survey to seek input.
The survey link and two summary reports detailing the progress of the recommendations in the Master Plan 2010-2030 are located in the box to the right. The "Master Plan Update Summary for Online Survey and Open Forums" is an abbreviated summary and will assist online survey participants in answering the questions posed.
